What is STEM & Why is it Important?

STEM Accelerated Coding obtained a contract through NASA, in collaboration with Battelle and the Ohio STEM Learning Network! Geospatial technology, coding, and 3D modeling were used with NASA content to develop K-12 curriculum. Professional development has also been provided to rural, suburban, and urban schools within northeast Ohio.

STEM Accelerated Coding obtained a grant from NOAA to develop a flash flood solution for the National Weather Service through K-8 schools! Students engaged with meteorologists to obtain requirements and developed a geospatial solution. Professional development is being created for schools within Ashland County.

STEM Accelerated Coding obtained a grant from NASA to work with middle school students to design the optimal way to extract water from Mars that would be placed into a robot that harnesses solar energy! Professional development at the NASA Glenn Research Center was provided, where requirements were gathered and experiments were implemented within classrooms.
